Collages and mixed media pieces utilize traditional canvasses, canvas or wood panels and watercolor paper.  Most collage pieces are fabricated from rice or mulberry paper or archival tissue paper, some of which have been hand painted with watercolors.  At times, maps and pages from old travel or photo books are used.  Unframed collages are finished with two coats of varnish.
